Churchill War Rooms
Experience the splendour of the Churchill War Rooms to see areas of great historic significance, like Churchill’s wartime bunker and the Cabinet War Rooms where all the big decisions were made. These rooms are just packed with military history, secrets and wartime espionage, and you’ll even see some secret underground tunnels.
The Interactive Churchill Museum is the ideal place to learn all about Churchill’s legacy and it’s the only one of its kind in existence, with everything dedicated to the great man and former Prime Minister. Using modern, electronic displays and multimedia technology, you’ll be fascinated with the wealth of interesting information at your disposal.
You’ll hear a selection of his famous, inspirational wartime speeches like “We’ll fight them on the Beaches”, as well as seeing film footage and photographs of Winston’s early life. You’ll even get to see some of the letters Churchill wrote to his beloved wife and the original door of No 10 Downing Street that he walked through when he became Britain’s wartime leader.
