School of Rock

The musical adaptation of Jack Black’s awesome film, School of Rock, has well and truly hit the West End. Running now at the New London Theatre on Drury Lane, this show is now the proud owner of the 2017 Olivier Award for Outstanding Musical Achievement.
Dewey Finn is the central figure in this enjoyable caper and is a member of a failed rock band who stumbles his way into a scenario where he ends up posing as a supply teaching at a highfalutin prep school.
Instead of teaching regular lessons to a group of A grade pupils, he teaches them the fundamentals of rock music and transforms them into a mean, hard playin’ rock band!
Can he enter the class band into the ‘Battle of the Bands’ without the school’s prim and proper head teacher finding out? You’ll have to watch to find out!
This rip-roaring show features all the songs heard in the movie and 14 extra songs, penned by the musical genius of Andrew Lloyd Webber.
This high-powered, guitar-shredding, drum smashing comedic hit is something you won’t want to miss!
