Paddington

The area made famous by Michael Bond’s loveable character, Paddington Bear, even has a bronze statue dedicated him at Paddington Station, underneath the clock on platform 1.
The area is quite a paradox as it offers the busy London throng and it is also possible to leave the hustle and bustle of city life behind with a short walk from Paddington Station to Little Venice, where you can ride a canal boat down to London Zoo in Camden Town or visit a Puppet Theatre barge – the choice is yours.
Located right in between London’s 2 Royal Parks, visitors to Paddington are never short of a wide open spaces with acres of greenery to enjoy.
There’s Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens and Talbot Square Gardens, all of which are ideal places for a family picnic or a game of ‘Giant Chess’.
