Wimbledon is the home of Lawn Tennis, the Wombles and the ‘Crazy Gang’ football team from the 1980s. This suburb is a great place to catch sight of Roger Federer, Andy Murray or Novak Djokovic during the 3 weeks of Summer that it is held. There’s even a Lawn Tennis Museum for you to enjoy.

If Tennis really isn’t your thing, then don’t worry, there’s still plenty to interest visitors to the area. Wimbledon Village is a lovely place to find restaurants, cafes and trendy boutique stores and is also a great area to take in a stroll across Wimbledon Common. The enigmatic and elegant Temple of Buddhapadipa can also be found just a short walk from there.
